so my ultimate #girlcrush and obsession of all time is edie sedgwick. she was and always will be amazing. 15 minutes of fame and inspiration that will last forever. so tonight im lucky enough to be going to a 60s/70s/80s fancy dress party. normally im like fancy dress, boo, as it usually means no food for two days in order to try look nice in a ridiculous outfit whilst surrounded with people dressed in lingerie #meangirls style (hello, fancy dress does not mean no dress!) anyway, at first i was like ah hippie style, yknow donn some plaits in my hair, tiedye, floaty skirts. im done. then i was ashamed at myself and wanted to slap my 60s loving, edie sedgwick devoted face; feeling like id betrayed her. so tonight im wishing i could be pulling out the twiggy lashes, sedgwick style shoulder brusher earrings (if i could find any last minute thrift shopping-off to antique warehouse) black mini dress and holding a drink in my hand all night - as a tribute to edie. heres some edie love for all you fellow devotees! <3
