after the boys of summer have gone
so i made a little nod towards the summer today in one of my posts but im going to jump on the bandwagon and make it blatantly obvious im british by going summer crazy the second i see some sun! 20 degrees, and im out in my bikini, 30 spf suncream and shades on my eyes.
in order: my sister&muma, sunbathing, dolphins, greece, rocky roads, sisters swimsuit, leopard print bikini, me and papa, lunch overlooking sea, lunch on the sea
two sunsets, some local entertainment, fairylights and a tan, flowers&white denim, lace, chloe on the wheel, swimming in turkey, bays and bays...
im feeling all nostalgic for long summer days and late summer nights, sipping iced beers, with lemon slices through bendy straws by seaside resteraunts (on holiday, whos kidding ourselves, their shite in england) sitting under a kabbanna, with sea in the air, on our skin and in our hair. if we're feeling #crazay we'll get a few of these little braids in their too, wrap some rope bracelets round our wrists and ankles, add a few anklets too - because everyone knows theyre not acceptable anytime else but august.
too excited for sleeping with the windows wide open, summertime breezes floating in. boys in board shorts, learning to surf and dreaming of a summer romance that turns into something more. dishing on a diet of fish and chips straight from the sea and fresh fruit to tickle our tastebuds. living in ripped up denim and cropped up tees, tiny bikinis (if we're lucky) and popping bright colours, smelling of morrocan oil and aftersun. godess waves in our long locks, dancing to the beat of our own drums. this summer my soundtrack will be the everlasting and everfitting boys of summer , by #donhenley heres some photos from my past summers to keep me excited for the future ones..
