so the last minute thrift shopping FAILED, one charity shop and an antique warehouse down, no edie sedgwick clothes were found - but a vintage french connection dress for £6, bargaain. so saturday night i tried on about five maxi flowery skirts, covered myself in so many feathered necklace i was verging on converting to the bird species, cracked out my christmas present asos peace earrings☮ and threw on a cropped crochet top. a few waves and plaits later, i was done.it was a good night thanks to the elvis impersonator- did i mention the 6/7/80s theme?!- and his mini me that copied all his moves, and the good supply of champagne and snacks!
